Zico, born Arthur Antunes Coimbra on March 3, 1953, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, is one of the greatest footballers of all time. A brilliant attacking midfielder and free-kick specialist, he became the idol of Flamengo, leading the club to the Copa Libertadores and the Intercontinental Cup in 1981. He starred for Brazil at the 1978, 1982 and 1986 World Cups, and the 1982 team is still celebrated as one of the most beautiful sides never to win the trophy.

After spells with Udinese in Italy and Kashima Antlers in Japan, where he helped build the J.League, Zico became a coach. He managed Japan's national team, Fenerbahçe, CSKA Moscow, Iraq and FC Goa in the Indian Super League.
