These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of SnapFetch and the tools, blog content, APIs and resources available across our web properties. They are written for creators in plain language wherever legally possible. By using SnapFetch you agree to these Terms in full.

01 Section

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using SnapFetch ("the Service") you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our DMCA Policy. If you are using the Service on behalf of a company or organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must stop using the Service immediately.

02 Section

2. Service usage

SnapFetch provides browser-based tools that fetch publicly accessible media from supported social platforms and deliver it to your device. The Service is provided free of charge for individual and professional creator use, subject to fair-use rate limits.

You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EEA/UK) to use the Service. By using it you confirm that you meet this requirement.

03 Section

3. Public content policy

SnapFetch is intended exclusively for content that is publicly accessible without authentication on the source platform. You agree not to use the Service to access, save or distribute content that is private, gated behind a follower-only or subscription paywall, age-restricted, behind a login wall, or otherwise unlawfully obtained.

04 Section

4. User responsibilities

You are solely responsible for how you use the media downloaded via SnapFetch. This includes:

  • Complying with the terms of service of each source platform.
  • Respecting the copyright, trademark, publicity and moral rights of the original creator.
  • Obtaining permission or licences where required before reusing, monetising or distributing content.
  • Complying with local laws regarding privacy, defamation and intellectual property.
05 Section

5. Intellectual property

The SnapFetch name, logo, brand assets, source code, user interface, blog articles and accompanying documentation are owned by SnapFetch and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell or lease any part of the Service or its content without our prior written permission.

All third-party trademarks (including Instagram, Facebook, Meta, Twitter, X, Pinterest, LinkedIn, YouTube and Google) are the property of their respective owners and are used here for descriptive purposes only. SnapFetch is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of these companies.

07 Section

7. Fair use

Fair use, fair dealing and similar doctrines vary by jurisdiction. Typical creator-friendly uses that may qualify include:

  • Personal archiving of your own posts.
  • Educational use in classroom or training settings.
  • Journalistic reporting and news commentary.
  • Transformative criticism, parody and review.
  • Research and academic analysis.
  • You remain responsible for evaluating whether your specific use qualifies as fair use in your jurisdiction. When in doubt, consult a qualified attorney.
08 Section

8. Restrictions

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to infringe copyright, trademark, privacy or publicity rights.
  • Strip watermarks, metadata or attribution to misrepresent authorship.
  • Resell, sublicense, mirror, rebrand or commercially redistribute the Service.
  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers, headless browsers) that materially burden our infrastructure.
  • Attempt to bypass rate limits, security mechanisms or access controls.
  • Use the Service to harass, dox or harm any person.
09 Section

9. Abuse prevention

To protect creators and infrastructure, SnapFetch enforces automated rate limits, IP-based throttling, bot detection and content-source blocklists derived from prior DMCA notices. Abuse may result in temporary or permanent restriction of access without notice.

10 Section

10. API & programmatic usage

Programmatic use of SnapFetch through any non-public endpoint is prohibited unless governed by a separate written agreement. We may block traffic patterns that resemble scraping, mass-export workflows or denial-of-service activity.

11 Section

11. Availability disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy.

Source platforms regularly change their APIs, layouts and policies, which may temporarily or permanently affect tool availability. We make no guarantee of uptime, completeness, or compatibility with any specific platform feature.

12 Section

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SnapFetch, its operators, contributors and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, exemplary or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, including loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or business opportunities, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service shall not exceed one hundred United States dollars (USD 100).

13 Section

13. Termination rights

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict or terminate access to the Service for any user, IP address or network range that we reasonably believe is violating these Terms, abusing the Service or threatening its stability or security. Termination is effective immediately upon notice or, where appropriate, without notice.

14 Section

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which SnapFetch is operated, excluding its conflict-of-law provisions. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your home country requires otherwise.

15 Section

15. Changes to terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, in an in-product notice. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of any change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
