About Napoleon Hill

American - Author | October 26, 1883 - November 8, 1970

Napoleon Hill (October 26, 1883 – November 8, 1970) was an American self-help author, born in a one-room cabin in Wise County, Virginia. He worked as a newspaper reporter and later claimed that a 1908 interview with steel magnate Andrew Carnegie inspired him to spend 20 years studying the habits of successful people.

His books *The Law of Success* (1928) and *Think and Grow Rich* (1937) became some of the best-selling personal development books of all time, selling tens of millions of copies and influencing generations of motivational writers. However, historians have never been able to verify his claimed meetings with Carnegie and other famous figures, and his life included several failed business ventures and accusations of fraud. He died in South Carolina in 1970. Here are 50 Napoleon Hill quotes.
