Keller learned to read Braille and to speak, and in 1904 she graduated from Radcliffe College, becoming the first deafblind person to earn a bachelor's degree. She wrote 14 books, including *The Story of My Life*, travelled to more than 35 countries and campaigned for people with disabilities, women's right to vote and workers' rights.
