THE STORY OF LIFE: Once, there was a man who was a king. He was a successful man with four wives, and he loved all of them equally. One day, the man became ill and was about to die. At the end of his life, he felt very lonely and sad. So, he asked his first wife to accompany him to the afterlife. He told her, ‘My dear wife, I loved you day and night, and I took care of you throughout my whole life. Now I am about to die. Will you go with me wherever I go, even in death?’ The wife replied, ‘My dear husband, I know you always loved me, but now that you’re going to die, it’s time for us to separate. Goodbye, my dear.’
The man felt hopeless, so he called his second wife to his sickbed and asked her to go with him in death. He said, ‘My dear wife, you know how much I loved you all my life. Please come with me.’ She replied, ‘Dear husband, I refused to accompany you to death. How can I follow you? You loved me only for your own selfish sake.’

The man felt very hopeless and called his third wife, asking her to follow him to death. She replied with tears in her eyes, ‘My dear husband, I pity you. I feel sad for myself. Therefore, I can only accompany you until the graveyard. This is my last duty to you.’ The third wife also refused to go with him to death.
Now, he called his fourth wife, whom he did not love very much and had treated like a slave. He thought that if he asked her to follow him to death, she would certainly say no. But finally, he asked his fourth wife to accompany him to death. The fourth wife accepted his request, saying, ‘I will come with you. I will always accompany you, even in death.’

“The most important thing is to enjoy your life—to be happy—it’s all that matters.” — Steve Jobs
The meaning of this story is that we all have four wives in our lives. These wives signify different aspects of our lives.
The first wife represents our body. We love our body day and night and take care of it every day, but unfortunately, at the end of our life, when it dies, our body leaves us and cannot accompany us to the afterlife.
The second wife represents our wealth, possessions, and fame. We are attached to these material things and wish to possess more, but we are afraid to lose them. At the end of our life, when we die, these material things cannot follow us. They are given to others and divided.

“The biggest adventure you can take is to live the life of your dreams.” — Oprah Winfrey
The third wife represents our family, friends, and relationships. They may love us very much, or we may love them very much, but at the end of our life, when we die, we cannot depend on anyone. They will go only until the graveyard. Nobody will accompany us to the afterlife, just like we were born alone and will die alone.
The fourth wife represents our soul and mind. It is the only thing that will remain with us wherever we go, even in death. As the fourth wife told the man, ‘I will accompany you wherever you go.’ So, don’t forget to love your soul and mind, as they are the main source of real happiness in your life.”
